For Speakers

For the benefit of all attendees and staff, your cooperation in maintaining the schedule is greatly appreciated. Please observe the following guidelines:

  1. Presentation format & timing: Prepare your slides using a PowerPoint aspect ratio of 16:9. The total time allotted for each presentation is as follows:
  • Tutorial: 35 + 5 minutes
  • Plenary: 25 + 5 minutes
  • Keynote: 20 + 5 minutes
  • Invited (Regular / Rising Star): 15 + 5 minutes
  • Contributed: 12 + 3 minutes

The second number in each pairing denotes time allocated for setup and Q&A (5 or 3 minutes). Presentations must begin promptly and strictly adhere to the schedule.

  1. Technical preparation: Speakers are advised to arrive early. A session chair and assistant will be present beforehand to provide support. Please bring your presentation (file format: PowerPoint/PDF, file name: Paper No._Name) on a USB flash drive and upload it to the laptop in the lecture room before your session starts (recommended at least one session in advance). The public laptop supports embedded videos or audio.
While using your own notebook is permitted, the organizing committee strongly encourages uploading to the conference laptop for smoother transitions and better time management. Back up your presentation both on a flash drive and via cloud storage to guard against unforeseen issues.
  2. Timing signals: A remote control with a laser pointer will be provided. A bell will ring one minute before the start of the Q&A period, and again one minute before the total allotted time concludes.

For Poster Presentations

  1. Poster dimensions must not exceed 90 cm (width) × 120 cm (height). Bulletin boards and other necessary materials will be available on-site on the fourth floor for mounting.
  2. Two poster sessions are scheduled: Monday and Tuesday evenings, from 6:35 PM to 8:30 PM. The conference organizing committee strongly recommends that posters be mounted by 4:30 PM, at the close of the afternoon coffee break.
  3. Presenting authors are required to remain by their bulletin boards throughout the session to present their work and respond to questions. Student authors who were selected to compete for the Best Student Poster Award but fail to be present will be disqualified.
  4. All posters must be removed by 9:00 PM following each session. Your cooperation reflects courtesy toward our staff.
